Chott el Djerid

Der in Tunesien liegende Salzsee Chott el Djerid ist zusammen mit dem Chott el Fejaj der Größte Salzsee der Welt mit einer Ausdehnung von circa 200 km.

Chott el Djerid diente unter anderem als Drehort für die Star-Wars Trilogie (Episode 4-6). Viele dieser Drehorte lassen sich auch heute noch besichtigen.
